RONALD LEWIS REICHERT
Ronald Lewis Reichert, 97, peacefully passed away on July 10, 2026. Born on November 19, 1928, in Racine, Wisconsin, Ron was the son of Leo and Lollie (Jacob) Reichert. He graduated from St. Catherine’s High School and Dominican College, laying the foundation for a life marked by service, leadership, faith and devotion to family.
In 1955, Ron married Nancy Wald, beginning a remarkable 68-year partnership until her passing. Ron and Nancy made their home in Racine, where they raised their children before moving to Estero, Florida. Ron was a resident of The Villages of Country Creek for 30 years.
Ron honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He went on to build an accomplished career in banking, holding senior leadership and Board Chairman roles. He retired from banking in 1992 and later worked for the City of Racine before officially retiring in 1996.
A dedicated community leader, Ron served on 15 boards, including St. Catherine’s High School (15 years) and Foundation Board, Holy Name Catholic Church (16 years), Lions Club of Racine (20 years), and Fourth Fest Inc., where he contributed his time, talent, and steady guidance.
Ron spent many years performing in drum and bugle corps as a drum major, a role that reflected his lifelong love of music. He also enjoyed golf, playing bridge, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and savoring a good Manhattan.
He will be remembered for his positive outlook and the humor that endeared him to so many. In his later years, Ron often joked, “Oh, to be 70 again!” and “Getting old isn’t for sissies,” sharing his wisdom with a smile.
Above all, Ron was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Nothing brought him greater joy than time spent with his children, granddaughters, and great grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his children Randall (Sally) Reichert and Lizabeth (Rick) Turnock; grandchildren Andrea (Joseph) Condict and Carley Turnock; and great grandchildren Sloane and Carter Condict and his sisters Janice Aberle and Donna Wenzel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Lollie Reichert, and his beloved wife, Nancy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Catherine’s High School, Racine WI (saintcats.org/donate) and USA Cares (Give Online – USA Cares).

IN MEMORIAM – NORMA VOSS
Norma H. Voss, 92, passed away on July 28, 2026.
She was born in Massachusetts on June 23, 1934, the daughter of Carl and Doris Crawford. She then lived in New Hampshire, graduating from Laconia High School in 1952. Immediately after her graduation, the family moved to Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Norma attended Lawrence College in Appleton, where she graduated in 1956 with a degree in anthropology. That is where she met Thomas C. Voss, and they were married right after graduation, June 16, 1956. Norma and Tom moved to Green Bay, where they lived their adult lives and raised three sons. Upon retirement, they moved to Sister Bay in Door County for five years before relocating to Estero, Florida. Norma remained in Florida before she came back to Appleton in June of 2025, settling at Touchmark.
Norma was a crafty person. She loved to knit and crochet. She was an avid reader, enjoying her time reading along with book clubs and the library. She was phenomenal at crosswords, often doing the New York Times crosswords in pen. Norma loved downhill skiing with her family and enjoyed many family ski weekends over the years. She also stayed active with tennis and golf. Norma was a huge Packers fan, and they held Packers’ season tickets throughout the years. There were many organizations that she volunteered with and was recognized by the P.E.O. with a “50 years of service” pin. It was important to her that she stayed engaged with current events and her community.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Voss; and parents, Carl and Doris Crawford.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Janet); Mark; and David (Deb); grandchildren, Andrew (Julie), Gretta, Rachel (Fiancé Sam), and Meredith; and great-grandchildren, Henry and Wesley.
