The Common Grounds Committee is pleased to share that, after the watering restriction delay, the replanting beautification project for both our Corkscrew and Three Oaks entrances is underway. The plants selected were chosen to enhance the entrances and to be more water-usage friendly. Planting before peak summer and rainy season helps new plants take root.
Interest in the Commemorative Tree Project is increasing, with three additional residents purchasing trees and choosing planting sites on Common Grounds. Applications are available at the administration office for those wishing to plant a tree in our community.

The project to clear/clean drainage/retention swales-waterways and riverbanks is a huge undertaking.8 Clearing drainage and retention swales and riverbanks is essential to keep waterways clear and protect the community from high water risks. During this process, some Common Ground areas have been found to have been used for homeowner plantings or for dumping homeowner yard debris and old planters.
Residents are reminded that drainage and retention swales/waterways are not for planting personal landscaping or dumping yard debris. Please inform your lawncare vendors that all yard waste must be removed from your property and not discarded in these areas. Thank you for helping keep the swales and waterways clear of personal landscaping and debris.
The Common Grounds Committee wishes all residents a healthy and joyful summer.
