DAVE AMATANGELO RECEIVING THE FRED MCBRIDE AWARD
Another successful league year has come to an end capped off by the CCMGA Gala. In addition to the fine meal and entertainment, the Fred McBride award was given to Dave Amatangelo. Since 1989 the Fred McBride Award is given in recognition of outstanding and devoted service given to the CCMGA. Dave has been a key member of the league executive board for a number of years. In addition to adding his insight to the planning process he has been in charge of planning the meals for our luncheon meeting. Congratulations Dave.
Due to the renovation activities, we weren’t able to have the April luncheon and meeting. We did, however, have the scramble tournament that was scheduled and it was won by the team of Lee Eisenberg, Kevin Klotzbach, Dave Goebel and Ray Atherholt.
And finally, it was no April Fool’s joke that on April 1st Paul Williams had a hole in one on the 5th hole with an 83-yard 7 iron. Well done.
