VCC Bocce Federation is happy to announce that our fall bocce champions were the all-male team Bandits. They won 24 out of 30 games. Gene Cipriano is their captain. Congratulations to Gene and his team on a job well rolled! The Blazers and Rascals tied for second place, while the Bandettes and Forgers tied for third. Congratulations to all teams for their support during the fall season.
Our league would like to thank the VCC Master Board for approving the installation of artificial turf for our VCC court. Three vendors were reviewed for design, cost and warranty. The contract was awarded to a local contractor and work is expected to be completed soon. Thank you so much for making this happen.
Our VCC winter bocce season will start on Friday, January 9, 2026. We have 13 teams and play on Tuesday and Friday afternoons starting at 2:30 p.m. We have one court within VCC and four courts we use at the Estero Community Park. We play until the end of March. We are looking for new players to help fill in our teams. No experience is necessary. It’s a fun game and meeting your neighbors is great. Please contact me if you want to join.
