Men … The Men are off to a great start! The 65 plus-3.0 group won the Bonita Fall League. They also finished 5th out of 12 teams in the 3.0 Open Division. Winter League begins in January. Social tennis is also available. Sign up at the condo courts weekly.
Ladies … The ladies are also off to a strong start and have players playing on two different teams. They are playing in the BonEro Women’s 3.0 tennis which is 50 plus. They are currently tied for 1st place. During the 2nd week they swept all three courts which resulted in a sweep party for the team. This team plays on Mondays from February 2 – March 9. They have six home matches in a row, so feel free to come watch and cheer them on to victory! Team members include Roe Brush, Capt. Margaret Farmar, Co-Capt. Joan Blaschke, Daphne Cole, Denise Sahly, Barbara Wilson, Maureen Bieling, Kristen Salerno, Carol Wolff and Eva Vassallo. The 70 plus 3.0 team starts play on Wednesdays in January. Drills … Coach Wayne is back and is conducting drills and lessons for all levels. His phone number is 772-713-3220. His programs are reasonably priced and vary on length of play and number of participants on the court. Prices range from $10-$40 per session.
