Our season is underway and it is getting off to an exciting start. We have had four holes in one already. On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the foursome of Bob DeCosta, Guy Gibson, Jim Kaltz and Ken Crimmins were playing golf together. On hole #9 Bob DeCosta wanted to try his new 5 hybrid. Well, it worked great. Bob got a hole in one from the blue tees, 148 yards. Eight holes later on hole number 17, Guy Gibson stepped up to the tee box with his 8 iron and got a hole in one from the blue tees, 116 yards. Guy was also celebrating his birthday! Fun day for that group. It was the 6th hole in one for Bob and Guy.
Then on Friday, Nov. 8, Richard Page was golfing in the Men’s League and got his first hole in one on hole # 6 from the white tee, 126 yards. Rich liked it so much he came back the following Wednesday and got another hole in one on hole #18! 77 yards from the white tee. Congratulations to all three of them for a fantastic start to the season.
We had our first member meeting and luncheon on Nov. 15. We had 56 players and great weather for our golf scramble. The winning team of Ray Atherholt, Dan Chelenza, Tony Lamia and Dan Daigneault took first place honors. Chef Kwazadine and his staff served up a delicious turkey lunch with all the sides and pumpkin pie.
Many of our members commented on the good conditions of the course. Thanks to Miguel Escobar and his team for their efforts on maintaining the course.
Currently we have 103 members total, with 5 new.

- Dec. 13: Meeting and luncheon. Game is a step aside scramble, 8:30 start. (ABCD) players team.
- Dec. 20: 2-man teams. Scramble on the front
- Best ball on the back 9.
- Dec. 27: Low net make your own 4-some.
