Fall VCC Bocce started in mid-October and ran through the first week of December this year. We normally finish in November, but the court maintenance and repair cost the league two weeks. We had ten (10) teams play in the fall league, and as of the date of this writing, the teams battling for first place are the Ball Busters, the Banditos, and the Rascals. The High Rollers and Bandettes haven’t played as many games as yet but are making great strides to take the lead in the next several weeks. Who will win the season? The VCC Bocce winter league will start mid-January and run through the end of March. Right now 13 teams are going to play, but we can add additional teams if required. If you are interested in joining the league, you can contact one of the captains listed below, or email Patti
O’Connor at buka@comcast. net. Each bocce team can have a maximum of 26 players. Our captains are Millie Willis, Joann & Bob Smith, Wayne Canary, Mary Anne Alicea, Sharon & Tom Boos, Diana & Harry Burton, Mike Halpin, Ron Hopkins, Mark & Sue Twombly, Ron Williams, and Tom Van Duyne.
