Thank you for your attendance at the Board meetings. We look forward to seeing you in person or on Zoom. We appreciate the level and various kinds of communication we receive from the community. As always, our goal is to have meaningful conversations that result in the betterment of our community. Should you have questions, concerns or ideas, please contact your Master Board at [email protected].
We hope you have been enjoying the new technology available to members of VCC. If you have not done so, please consider downloading the Hotwire Fision and Clubhouse Online applications. In the November issue of the Villager, Judy Lieske and Lois Christenson offered step-by-step instructions to download each of these applications to your electronic devices. These tools make staying connected a breeze.
On Saturday, November 2, VCC enjoyed its inaugural Service Day. More than 100 members of our community cleaned signs, picked up trash, worked on the landscape, painted benches, updated signs, and more. In addition, many volunteers coordinated the potluck items for the luncheon that followed. The weather cooperated and a great deal of good work was accomplished for our community. Plans are underway to determine a date in 2025 for the annual Service Day.
Were you aware that VCC has participated in the Adopt a Hwy/Road Program for several years? Thanks to the efforts of Dave Hoffman, Grant Longley, and other VCC volunteers, the area between Three Oaks heading west to Design Parc Lane is cleaned on a regular basis. This is a great way for the members of VCC to engage in a positive activity for the Village of Estero. Would you be interested in leading the efforts for this program in the future? If so, please contact Michelle Suarez at 618-525-5124 for more information.
In closing, we wish each of you the best for the holidays and a prosperous new year. Whether your plans include travel or you’ll spend your time at VCC, we hope you experience all of the joys of the holidays.
