Care Bears is an organization at the Villages at Country Creek that is totally free to our residents. It is run through the goodness of our residents that have donated many wonderful medical equipment pieces to be loaned out to those of us in need. Again, it is free. If you are in need of a wheelchair, walker, seated walker, knee scooter, shower chair, commode, crutches or cane, we should have one available for your temporary use.
We also provide transportation to doctor visits when we can, or shopping for groceries that you may need. Please allow us time to coordinate any trips you might need.
Attention HOA Presidents— I have new information sheets to be placed in your bulletin boards at your mailboxes or at the bulletin board at the swimming pools. Please call me (Karen @ 217-220-0626) and I will be sure to get these important notices to you.
To update our records for volunteers, please contact Karen Dougherty at 217-220-0626 if you are willing to drive members of our community. Most times we are not needed for transportation because of our wonderful neighbors helping their neighbors. However, on occasion, we receive requests for rides.
